Catch Basins

We can handle all of your needs relating to catch basin and storm line cleaning and repair.

Catch basins "catch" or collect dirt and other debris. This debris requires periodic removal. Using a high powered vacuume truck, we can remove grease and debris from catch basins. We dispose of all materials to an EPA authorized facility.

Catch basins also contain water. Water in a catch basin rises to a certain level inside the basin and then drains into an outflow pipe, which is a storm sewer. Sometimes, this storm sewer needs to be cleaned. A catch basin needs to be vacuumed and cleaned before the dirt rises and plugs the outflow pipe. Removing this debris prevents pollution and expensive flood damage to residential, commercial and municipal properties.

Have your catch basins pumped on a regular basis, at least twice a year.

  • Vacuum catch basins.
  • Provide safe disposal of all types of catch basin debris.
  • Power jet storm line, if needed.
  • Repair catch basins.
  • Repair catch basin storm lines.
  • Locate breaks in storm lines with cameras, dyes and electronic locating equipment.

    Closed Circuit Television

Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) is the use of video cameras to transmit signal to a specific, limited set of monitors.

In many cases, closed circuit television equipment is warranted, if not needed, to determine a problem in a sanitary or storm pipe.

Why is this such a valuable tool in the sewer and drain business?

CCTV allows us to see exactly where and what the problem is, as well as documenting the issue. All of which is saved to a DVD or other media format.  This in turn allows us to perform a more "surgical" repair, instead of removing large sections of pipe to find the problem.

We can CCTV lines from  1 1/2" to 36" in diameter.

    Grease & Debris Removal

Grease and Debris removal is a tough business, especially in the wake of  "Green" initiatives.

Removing grease and debris in most cases is a trivial process, although it can be time consuming.  Having the correct equipment for the job not only reduces the amount of time it takes to complete the process, but also ensures state and federal compliance.

Grease can not be discharged into the public sanitary system, nor can it be brought to conventional treatment plants.  It must be brought to a specialized, designated facility for processing. The stringent laws make grease removal expensive.  The burden not only lies with the person(s) or company removing/disposing of the grease, but also the persons(s) or company from which is came from.

Hiring the right company for the job is imperative.  Knowing that all the proper steps are taken throughout the entire process not only gives you piece of mind, but will also keep you from getting fined, litigation, bad press, the list goes on.

We follow all EPA guidelines and make no exceptions for anyone.

We can install and/or repair grease traps, separator & strainers, floor drains, slop sinks and pretty much anything else that relates to the trapping or collecting of grease and debris.

We also have preventative maintenance programs that help relieve the strain and cost associated with maintaining grease and debris removal systems.

    High Pressure Jetting

Clogged sewer lines can quickly turn from a nuisance into a nightmare of public health hazards.

Whether clogging is caused by sewage backup or other disasters, you need someone who can respond with the right type of equipment and experienced personnel.

Our sewer cleaning services include a high velocity water-jetting machine at pressures up to 2,500 psi. Our jetting equipment sets up in minutes and rids your sanitary and storm sewers of blockages more quickly than any other method available.
We can provide a wide range of services such as removal of debris and blockages from:

  • Sewer lines, pits and pumping stations.
  • Storm water lines and pits.
  • Conduits, process lines.
  • Catch basins.
  • Root intrusions (high-powered root cutters).

High velocity water jetting can also be used for grease buildup in drains, process lines and culverts.
Obstructions and debris are removed without any damage to sewer walls The process is clean and environmentally safe.

    Maintenance Programs

Preventive maintenance (PM) is a service in which the customer gets exceptional value from this contract. We offer cleaning every six months or yearly basis. Lets you project drain cleaning expenses as you do your other maintenance expenses.

PM helps in the prevention of problems such as the amount of sludge and debris that builds up in the line over a period of time, sewer back-ups, flooded basements, expensive cleanup cost. This service prevents sewer and drain emergencies that can interrupt your business. With regular service you can stop problems before they become emergencies.

The result of a successful PM program extends the life of the sanitary and storm lines inside and outside of buildings, and minimizes unscheduled downtime that causes major problems and unscheduled breakdowns are held to a minimum. Our preventive maintenance agreement lets you budget for sewer and drain maintenance and schedule our visits at a mutually convenient time. Customers get scheduled reminders when contract cleaning is due. We offer PMs to residential and commercial property owners or management companies.

    Residential Inspection Services

Purchasing a home is typically the largest investment a person makes. When you purchase a home, there seems to be endless fees associated with the purchase of a home. Many times, buyers try to limit these additional fees by cutting corners.

Lenders require that you have a home inspection, this tells them that the structure, roof, electrical, and plumbing are up to code. Problems found during a home inspection must be corrected before you get a mortgage.

Home inspections not only protect the lender, but also protect the buyer. Most Home Inspection agencies are fairly thorough, but are usually either not equipped or not trained to do a complete inspection of the sanitary sewer lines that connect a house to the city sewer lines and/or septic tanks.

The average cost of replacing a home’s sanitary sewer line (also known as a lateral line) is approximately $6,500.00, but can be much higher. Property such as driveways, landscaping, structural foundation drilling to replace pipes and not being able to use anything connected to a drain is what happens when a sanitary line needs replacing. A sanitary sewer line can seem to be in perfect working condition, but it still may need to be repaired and/or replaced. The only way to know for sure what condition the sanitary system is in would be to see it. This is where we come in.

OneVac will video your sanitary sewer line up to 4 inches (typical home size of residential sanitary line). This video inspection detects sags, offset joints, cracks, grease build up, partially crushed lines, roots and much more. Having a thorough inspection like this can literally save you thousands of dollars. Please see below for a listing of some of our home inspection services:

    • Video inspections of sanitary sewer line (client keeps video).
    •  Trace and map directional flow of sewer line (additional fees may apply).
    •  Documented report of all findings and suggestive measures outlined to the seller/buyer.
    •  Root treatment and/or removal.
    •  Sanitary/Storm line cleaning and repair.

Please keep in mind that this inspection is not mandatory and is only intended to protect the buyer from the possibility of unforeseeable repairs that are typically not detected with standard home inspections. Also, this inspection is not to replace a home inspection, but to compliment one.

If you have any question on these, or any other services we offer, please contact us.

    Residential Services

We have a host of residential services that not only offer home owners and property management companies expert services, but offer these services at prices that make sense and are fair.

Many times, home owners or property managers will try and find the cheapest service they can find.  Just to have the end result cost twice as much, if not more, than the original estimate.

While we strive to have competitive prices, there will always be someone trying to undercut the competition.  This is especially true with new and/or inexperienced companies. These "start up" companies have a high failure rate, usually closing their doors inside of a year. The reason for this is performing services so cheap and not giving an solid estimate (usually because of inexperience). Many times, these companies take heavy losses and just can't afford to stay in business.

We take the time to give a thourogh estimate, spending the additional time ensures that we are giving an honest quote, one that is precise and details the scope of the job. This not only ensures the customer knows exactly what their paying for and what's being fixed, but also helps ensure that neither party is "raked over the coals".

Our residential services include, but are not limited to:

    • Sewer & Drainage Repair/Installation
    • Closed Circuit Television Inspections (CCTV)
    • Sump Pump Repair and Installation
    • Catch Basin Repair/Installation
    • Light Plumbing Reapair  -Toilet reseating (wax rings), in-sink garbage disposals, clogged drains, cracked/broken pipes and fixture replacement.

We also do pre/post home inspections using state of the art video equipment.  Having a septic system and/or sanitary sewer lines inspected and video taped is something that is overlooked when purchasing a new residence. The roof, foundation and other the other mandated checks are performed to protect the buyer from unforseen problems that could impose a high cost to repair/replace such items.  Why not the sanitary system? A new sanitarty line or septic system can cost as much as a roof to replace, in some cases more.

Having a sanitary inspection is relatively cheap and can save the prospective buyer thousands of dollars.

Please contact us for more details and/or if you have a question about any of our services. We also have preventitive maintenance programs for all of our services.

Remember, if it flows out of your house, we can handle it.

    Sanitary & Storm Lines

Sanitary & Storm line cleaning using hydraulic or mechanical methods performed on a routine basis helps to remove accumulated debris in pipes such as sand, silt, grease, roots and rocks.

Homes, industries and municipalities can benefit from our services in many ways.
Our services are better, cleaner and cheaper than what a home owner, business owner or municipality can perform these services for. By using our services, all of the responsibilities are lifted from the individual, business owner or municipality.

If grease and/or debris is allowed to accumulate, it reduces the pipe capacity and a blockage can eventually occur resulting in overflows from the system onto streets, yards, basements, and into surface waters.

Call us today to request a consultation and/or bid request - it could save you thousands of dollars.

    Sump Pump Repair & Installation

    Wet Wells

    Wet Wells

Raw sewage flows into lift station wet wells to be pumped to treatment facilities, accumulations of sewage, grease, oils, fatty acids and calcium and magnesium soaps form deposits on the walls. These deposits reduce volume capacity of wet wells and by their natural decomposition process emit offensive odors. To return lift stations to optimum efficiency this accumulation of debris must be removed or substantially reduced by high pressure water and industrial vacuuming.

There are many preventiive steps/programs that can be implemented to reduce the frequency of wet well cleaning. These programs are very cost affective, as cleaning wet wells can be a prohobitively expensive as grease and other materials have to be transported to special facilities that can safely manage this type of waist.

To find out more about these programs, please contact us.
